                                          James Belushi

James Adam "Jim" Belushi (born June 15, 1954) is an American actor, comedian, singer, and musician. He is best known for playing the role of James "Jim" Orenthal on the long-running sitcom "According to Jim", and is the younger brother of late comedic actor John Belushi.

Belushi was born in Chicago. His father was an Albanian immigrant from Qytezë and his mother was the daughter of Albanian immigrants.
Jim was raised in a Chicago suburb, along with his three siblings: older brother John, his sister, Marian, and a younger brother, Billy.
After graduating from Wheaton Central High School, Jim Belushi attended the College of DuPage and graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a degree in Speech and Theater Arts.

James grew up in Wheaton, Illinois, and was the third of four children. His parents have both Albanian descent. Father Adam emigrated at the age of 15 years to the United States and mother Agnes was born to Albanian immigrants in America.

 
A former high school teacher was so impressed with his improvisational arts that he could Belushi persuade a play. From then, he took part in drama at school. He went to the 'Wheaton College' and graduated from the 'Southern Illinois University' in Speech and Theater Arts.
From 1976-80 he was a member of the famous 'Chicago Second City'. Writer Garry Marshall then gave him roles in television series. In 1983, he was an actor in 'Saturday Night Live'.
Jim gained attention in 'About Last Night' (in German 'About Last Night').
He plays with not only in movies, but is also patron of the 'House of Blues', in which he also performs with his band, The Sacred Hearts'.
He had been three wives, by two he divorced her. He is a husband and father and lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Jennifer, and his sons Robert (born 1981) and Jared (born 2002), and his daughter Jamison (born 1999).
Jim played from 2001 to 2009, the role of Jim in the U.S. sitcom "According to Jim" (in German: 'According to Jim'). He is also a very good friend of Dan Aykroyd, formerly with his brother John (+ 1982) was the 'Blues Brothers'. He took with him a CD ('Have Love Will Travel').

2011 announced Belushi to be suffering from gout.
